If you are based in the USA and selling to one or more investors overseas, yes. If you are based in another country and selling to one or more investors in the USA, yes. If you are based in another country and selling to only investors outside of the USA, Acquire will impliment special controls for your region on a case by case basis. So yes as well.
Acquire knows first hand the challenge of switching and upgrading platforms to manage your active and past funds. We believe in a wholistic view for your team and your investors, and migrating good reviewed and audited data into our platform is the best option available. the alternative of managing multiple systems can be a drag on staff, but we do recommend during the migration to have both systems active for an overlapping period of time before fully cancelling your past system of operation.
We do provide data migration services and support from our team, All data goes into a staging draft state. we also provide external third party auditors and accountants at your request to assist and approve the data migrated and that it has 100% accuracy before taking those migrated data sets and their respective funds live.
When you take legacy data live, Your LPs will get a complete view of their past ownership in those legacy and active funds. LPs can even claim a staged and populated account containing all of their profile and portfolio information using our Acqurie I.D. verification system.
